Szpunar Joins [ 2 one 5 ] Creative as Intern

New season, new team! Welcome to Julia Szpunar, who joins the [ 2 one 5 ] Creative team for the summer as our latest Marketing Intern.

Julia is currently a rising sophomore at Fordham University, studying Global Business with concentrations in both Marketing and Digital Media. In her first year at Fordham, she kept busy with a full course load, a social media marketing internship at The Gramlist, and work as an event planner and ambassador with Fordham Career Services. She also serves as the President and Editor-in-Chief of 6062 Collective, a student magazine focused on fashion and beauty. Those experiences speak to Julia’s love for digital marketing – she is fascinated by brands’ use of different marketing strategies to cultivate their in-store and digital brand experiences.

“We got a ton of great candidates in for our marketing internship,” said Emily Huddell, VP of Brand Development at [ 2 one 5 ] Creative. “Initially, Julia’s cover letter caught our attention – we loved how she shared her ‘origin story’ and personal experiences in a compelling, authentic way. Then, when we met her in person, we knew she’d be the right fit with the rest of our team.”

Speaking of that origin story: Julia was born in Poland, and her heritage plays a big part in her life. She travels to Europe often to see her family, but loves Philly and NYC too – says Julia, “There’s nothing like the diversity and excitement of a city!” An adventurer at heart, Julia will gladly hop onto a plane someplace new in a moment’s notice if given the opportunity. She’s also a brunch fanatic, frequent concertgoer, and nature lover.

“During my time at [ 2 one 5 ] Creative, I’m very eager to step outside of my comfort zone and be put on projects where I can work with the team to help create new marketing strategies for real clients,” said Julia. “This opportunity will allow me to learn about the industry from others who already have so much experience. Everyone on the team is super understanding and helpful, therefore I am always learning from my mistakes and successes. Even just hearing other’s thought-processes during meetings provides me with a ton of insight on how to approach different marketing projects.”
