[ 2 one 5 ] Creative Honored with 3 ADDY Awards

Boutique agency [ 2 one 5 ] Creative had a big night at the 2018 Philadelphia American Advertising ADDY Awards, taking home two GOLD ADDYs and the coveted “BEST OF CATEGORY” trophy in the Online/Interactive category on Thursday, March 8.

Said Nikolas Greenblatt, Founder and Creative Director of [ 2 one 5 ] Creative, “Since 2001, I have striven to lead my team as we develop impactful, emotional campaigns that resonate with our clients and their customers. We use a hybrid strategic and creative approach to achieve these results, and I am incredibly proud that this year’s ADDY’s recognized what my team was able to deliver.”

The ADDY’s serve as the official kickoff to awards season, and are considered the industry’s biggest and most competitive competition, attracting thousands of submissions per city and more than 40,000 entries nationally. At the Philadelphia ADDY’s, [ 2 one 5 ] Creative competed against recognized agencies including the Brownstein Group, Digitas Health, Karma, Neighborhood Film Company, Pavone, and Tierney.

All three of [ 2 one 5 ] Creative’s 2018 ADDYs – a GOLD ADDY for Cinematography, a GOLD ADDY for Websites – Microsites, and a Best of Online/Interactive ADDY, recognized the agency’s work with long-time client ToughTested.

Since 2014, [ 2 one 5 ] Creative has collaborated with ToughTested to elevate and showcase the company’s brand and products, and create emotional connections with potential customers. This year’s award-winning work stemmed from [ 2 one 5 ] Creative’s efforts on the #MadeToGoToWork campaign, designed to shine a light on the company’s real-life brand ambassadors including race car driver Cassie Gannis, park ranger Tess Gugel, and contractor Eric Eremita.

Said Tom Buske, Vice President of Sales and Brand Strategy at Mizco International Inc. (ToughTested is a division of Mizco), “We set out with a goal of creating a great user experience to introduce our brand ambassadors to the world in a personal and dynamic way. Our ambassadors have extremely diverse personalities and [ 2 one 5 ] was able to really capture each one.”

[ 2 one 5 ] Creative traveled around the country to interview and record each ambassador at work, at home, and in the community, creating a series of cinematic short films. The agency then built a dynamic microsite featuring a unique but brand-relevant visual design to showcase the videos, and other elements spotlighting each ambassador’s embodiment of the ToughTested brand.

“To over-deliver on this campaign, we leveraged our agency’s key differentiating component of having all departments – including video and web – internally,” said Greenblatt. “We put all of our creative resources together to create a powerful user experience that used current and progressive web animations and transitions, and video vignettes and backgrounds specifically optimized for a powerful mobile experience.”

“The relationship we have built over time with [ 2 one 5 ] has allowed them to know our brand intimately and grow with us, and their work just keeps getting better and better as the brand story evolves,” said Buske. “We truly value our partnership/relationship with [ 2 one 5 ], and just love it every time we’re told, ‘Wow – your brand looks amazing!’.”

This year’s Philadelphia ADDY recipients were selected by industry leaders from elite agencies DigitasLBi, Doner, Droga5, GTB, and MRM/McCann. With their multiple victories in Philadelphia, [ 2 one 5 ] Creative will now advance to the district ADDYs, competing against award-winning agencies hailing from New York City, Washington DC, and Baltimore.
