As their slightly hometown boys, the Patriots, get ready for Super Bowl XLII, the people at the Boston Globe’s Stypephile offer a piece for their fans to show their support while still looking stylish. Their suggestion? [ 2 one 5 ]’s Not NY shirt! Read about it here.

So, as promised, and in honor of Lil Wayne having enough drugs on him to get so high he could eat a star, we’re now unleashing our (for now) favorite installment of our Top 5. Inspired by our office obsession with Mario Galaxy, we proudly present our Top 5 Mario Galaxy Galaxies. If you haven’t played this game yet, we suggest you do. Dan’s gotten so bad with his addiction, he keeps hearing the sound of collecting star bits everywhere. Even away from the Wii. Here are the galaxies, in no particular order:

1.) Beach Bowl Galaxy

2.) Loopdeeloop Galaxy

3.) Bubble Breeze Galaxy

4.) Freezeflame Galaxy

5.) Toy Time Galaxy

The shutterbugs traveled to the Southern Hemishpere and Mt. Hood to shoot these photographs and show the world that the terrain on the other side of the equator can be just as good. [ 2 one 5 ]’s favorite rapper, Lil Wayne, got himself in some major trouble again. The Carter was stopped in Yuma, Arizona by border patrol where canines and police searched his tour bus and found a ton of drugs. Inside the bus, they found 22,000 dollars in cash, 3 guns, 105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of coke, and 41 grams of ecstasy. Somebody’s so high they could eat a star. Read the rest of the article at MTV.
***In honor of Lil Wayne getting so high he could eat a star, we will be doing our Top 5 Mario Galaxies later today.

The Winter X-Games have gotten underway. I believe they’re still in the practice runs, and won’t be broadcast until a later date. But, to keep yourself up to date on all the snowboard happenings, why not head over to our homie Jon Coen’s WinterX Snowboard Snotes blog. Jon usually writes for the surf side of EXPN, but this week he’ll be kicking it with snowboarders (Danny Kass today), and letting you know what’s going down on the slopes at Aspen. Jon also wrote two pieces for Living Proof. He’s mad talented.

On Saturday January 19th at the Marple Sports Arena there was a celebrity boxing match for charity. The main event was Justice of “wired 96.5″ vs. Danny Bonaduce of the “Partridge Family”. In my eyes Justice was the winner, but the judges did not believe that he handed it to Bonaduce. If you ask anyone who attended they will tell you that Justice was the overall winner of the fight. I feel that maybe because he was the so called “celebrity” the just declared him the winner. And rumor has it that the named him the winner of the fight because he is a celebrity boxer with supposedly no defeats, and if he had lost nobody would want to match up against him just for the hell of it.
P.S. Danny Bonaduce in person is a very scary man………The End ( Rumors are out about a rematch )

The movie starts out mellow and about 10 - 15 min into it, shit hits the fan. Throughout the entire flick i was literally sitting on the edge of my seat. I really enjoyed this movie and would recommend that if you have any interest in seeing it to see it in the theaters and not to wait for it to be released on DVD. And yes you do get to see the monsters.
