We’re a day late, but Happy Birthday Ellen!!! Ellen Stagg is one of our favorite photographers. And she should be yours, too. Check out some of her tame portrait work at The Stagg Party or take a stroll on the sleazy side of her town at Stagg Street.

Yesterday, Shepard Fairey released his lasted print–a limited edition 24×36 inch endorsement for Barack Obama as president. The prints sold out very quickly, but proceeds will go into creating a large statewide poster campaign. If you’re interested in helping out go here.

During our visit to the Frank 151 headquarters back in December, we asked our homie Craig Wetherby when their fitted for the Philly Bell Ringers (One of the “teams” in their distro league) was coming out. He told us we’d have to wait. Well, the time has come. Yesterday, they posted these shots up, and we couldn’t be more stoked on it. It’s not a Philly bias either. This is one of our favorites out of the whole set.

Married to the Mob (our favorite women’s brand) posted these up on their blog a few days ago. It’s good to see this brand venturing into new territory, and finally giving the ladies a little piece of fashion steez (it’s sorely needed). We’re loving the back pockets, normal waistline height, and light whiskering. Can’t wait to see a full shot to get all the great details (you know there are plenty).

So not only has NIKE branched into skateboarding but by next snowboard season NIKE will be squeezing its way into the industry by releasing there new snowboard boots. they are said to have 4 men’s and 3 women’s styles and should be hitting the stores late augest.
NIKE also has a website place holder for now on NIKESNOWBOARDING but we here at 2one5 still cant quite figure out what is going on in the live feed. but i would keep checking back because im sure when the site drops it’ll be off the chain.

Our homie Dev79 sent these images of him and his Seclusiasis crew rocking some [ 2 one 5 ] gear. Dev79 djed our Trunk Show at 707, and we’re hoping to get back together with him and his crew for more upcoming parties (visit our Flickr to see our drunk asses getting down). Anyway, every Thursdays, Seclusiasis rocks the house at Sal’s on 12th. And every 4th Friday, the give us The Straight Dope at the Khyber. Get to these parties. If you haven’t yet.

The 26-year-old is currently being held under a 72-hour psychiatric emergency hold, known as a 5150. She was rushed to UCLA Medical Center at 1 a.m. ( 4 a.m. EST ). On the way to the cuckoo center she was accompanied by a police escort of more then a dozen motorcycles and two choppers. She flew over the nest one too many times. Get full story here.

Well first and foremost SLY looks like a white Barry Bonds with that enormous head of his, stay off the HGH sly. but all kidding aside Rambo was a decent movie it was gory as all hell and cheesy but what rambo movie isnt. Just a warning though if you cant deal with limbs getting blown off and throats getting ripped out i would recomend not seeing this movie. If you can deal with all that and love when the good guys win then go for it.

- Barry McGee has a huge installation at the Baltic Center. Check the flicks from Supertouch.
- Bonnie cheats on all her boyfriends.
- This year’s Super Bowl has no dramatic story lines. This is it?
- Erykah Badu’s got a badass album cover.
- That Kaws/Neckface/Faile van is on eBay.

Why don’t you check out winter X games 12 heres the schedule for this weekend. That way there is no excuse for missing it.

LIVE FROM AGENDA 2008

Yes indeedy your man slickah was LIVE n the cut up @ the Agenda Trade Show getting the scoop from all the true heads. It looks like our boyee Josh over at 10deep is sponsoring a skateboard team and one of dem fine fellows JEROME be from the illadell. DC was there repping their new faLL 08 line and boy does it look DOPE. We caught up with the cats over at WESC to learn about their collaborative efforts wit the almighty STASH. SUPER was there in full force rocking some dope wayfayer looking shades. Last but not least the home town favorite UNDRCRWN was doing it major at the show wit their replica polo bear graphics and all kind of worlds champion graphics going on.
check our flickr to check all the flicks we snapped.

As their slightly hometown boys, the Patriots, get ready for Super Bowl XLII, the people at the Boston Globe’s Stypephile offer a piece for their fans to show their support while still looking stylish. Their suggestion? [ 2 one 5 ]’s Not NY shirt! Read about it here.
So, as promised, and in honor of Lil Wayne having enough drugs on him to get so high he could eat a star, we’re now unleashing our (for now) favorite installment of our Top 5. Inspired by our office obsession with Mario Galaxy, we proudly present our Top 5 Mario Galaxy Galaxies. If you haven’t played this game yet, we suggest you do. Dan’s gotten so bad with his addiction, he keeps hearing the sound of collecting star bits everywhere. Even away from the Wii. Here are the galaxies, in no particular order:

1.) Beach Bowl Galaxy

2.) Loopdeeloop Galaxy

3.) Bubble Breeze Galaxy

4.) Freezeflame Galaxy

5.) Toy Time Galaxy

Powerhouse Books has released 28 Day Winter, a collection of snowboard photographs from Living Proof’s Featured Artist Dean “Blotto” Gray, Jeff Curtes, and Adam Moran. The shutterbugs traveled to the Southern Hemishpere and Mt. Hood to shoot these photographs and show the world that the terrain on the other side of the equator can be just as good. Snowboarders featured include: Terje Haakonsen, Shaun White, Kelly Clark, Hannah Teeter, and more.

[ 2 one 5 ]’s favorite rapper, Lil Wayne, got himself in some major trouble again. The Carter was stopped in Yuma, Arizona by border patrol where canines and police searched his tour bus and found a ton of drugs. Inside the bus, they found 22,000 dollars in cash, 3 guns, 105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of coke, and 41 grams of ecstasy. Somebody’s so high they could eat a star. Read the rest of the article at MTV.
***In honor of Lil Wayne getting so high he could eat a star, we will be doing our Top 5 Mario Galaxies later today.

The Winter X-Games have gotten underway. I believe they’re still in the practice runs, and won’t be broadcast until a later date. But, to keep yourself up to date on all the snowboard happenings, why not head over to our homie Jon Coen’s WinterX Snowboard Snotes blog. Jon usually writes for the surf side of EXPN, but this week he’ll be kicking it with snowboarders (Danny Kass today), and letting you know what’s going down on the slopes at Aspen. Jon also wrote two pieces for Living Proof. He’s mad talented.

On Saturday January 19th at the Marple Sports Arena there was a celebrity boxing match for charity. The main event was Justice of “wired 96.5″ vs. Danny Bonaduce of the “Partridge Family”. In my eyes Justice was the winner, but the judges did not believe that he handed it to Bonaduce. If you ask anyone who attended they will tell you that Justice was the overall winner of the fight. I feel that maybe because he was the so called “celebrity” the just declared him the winner. And rumor has it that the named him the winner of the fight because he is a celebrity boxer with supposedly no defeats, and if he had lost nobody would want to match up against him just for the hell of it.
P.S. Danny Bonaduce in person is a very scary man………The End ( Rumors are out about a rematch )

The movie starts out mellow and about 10 – 15 min into it, shit hits the fan. Throughout the entire flick i was literally sitting on the edge of my seat. I really enjoyed this movie and would recommend that if you have any interest in seeing it to see it in the theaters and not to wait for it to be released on DVD. And yes you do get to see the monsters.

This weekend on my stroll around town, I made my usual stop to pick up some fresh periodicals. As I looked around through the usual suspects one mag cover really caught my eye. It was the newest issue of URB mag. As I paged through this newly laid out mag, I saw a ton of fre$h shit. From their lookbook, to the amanda blank interview to nigel dennis’s illustration for the cool kids. As I thought to myself damn this could be the hottest issue out right now, I came across one of [ 2 one 5 ]’s newest spring tees. Hell yeah I thought that’s so what’s up! As I threw that mag into my stack of selects I quickly voyaged over to the action sports section where our ad campaign for burton snowboards helmet brand R.E.D. was inserted in 3 magazines. Transworld, snowboarder, future snow, and oh yeah freeskier. Oooops I guess that makes it 4. After taking a second to reflect on all this I came to the conclusion that I’m living my dream. I’ve always strove to walk into a bookstore and see my work and sure enough its been happening pretty consistently lately. As you know today is mlk day and one of his most prolific speech still gives me goosebumps: “I have a dream.” Please take a moment today to reflect on your life and dreams and be sure to give thanks to the one of the most peaceful and amazing men that ever lived. Here’s to you martin, THANK YOU !

Our Spring/Summer 08 Lookbooks arrived from the printer today, and boy do they look great! We’re not just saying that because of any of the following reasons: 1.) These are our t-shirts/cut and sew pieces/hats 2.) We designed the book/layout or 3.) It marks the modeling debut of everybody in the office. The book will be online in a few days, which leaves you with a few options: 1.) Head to our Flickr page for the behind the scenes photos/teasers 2.) Holler at us (click Connect) if you’re a store/boutique and you’re thinking about carrying [ 2 one 5 ] or if you run a prominent “blog” so we can send you a copy. And finally a huge shout to Kevin Vertucio who shot this bad boy for us. Dude can really get a shutter going.

This past Saturday the [2 one 5] board team traveled up to the TRANS AM contest held up at big boulder. although no one from the team won we stuck around for awhile and killed it in the terrain park for a few hours after the contest was over. big ups to TREVOR B and his crew, everyone was killing it. one.
