We’re starting up a new feature here on our blog: [ 2 one 5 ] ART! Once a week (or so), we’ll show you some original art from our employees. Dan’s up first. As evidence by some of the graphics in his blog posts, Dan’s not too sharp with CS3. But, give this kid an X-acto, some paper, tape, and glue, and he’ll put something together. Here, we present part of his Dirty Boots series–a collection of origami boots made with paper featuring pin-up girls. Enjoy.

So, our beloved Philadelphia Eagles burst out of the gate to an 0-2 start, and you’ve begun dragging your feet and moping around like a fourteen year-old. You’re ready to break out the Joy Division cassettes, lock yourself in your room, and possibly contemplate following in the footsteps of Ian Curtis. Well, snap out of it, Philadelphia. It’s a long season, and there’s plenty of time for Andy Reid to rip away the rust and knock out the kinks. Instead of dropping your chin, show a little pride in not only your team, but your city.
“What’s the best way to perk up my hopes about the Eagles season, while also swaggering with Philadelphia love, [ 2 one 5 ]?’ is what you might be asking yourself. Well, we’ve got you covered. Literally:

PORN!

Now, why on earth would [ 2 one 5 ] do a little font study on porn fonts? You’ll just have to wait and find out.
From this week’s Philadelphia Weekly (Fall Guide 2007, The Fashion Issue, Elements of Style (talk about subheadings!))

Philly’s been getting a lot of outside love lately, and now Nike’s in on the orgy with their own Philly fitted hat. It comes in both blue and white and features a cityscape screen.
It’s Tuesday, and I’m a day late recapping my weekend.

First, my parents were out of town, so I was stuck babysitting this little rascal. Her name is Maisy (aka The Maiserz/Princess Puppy/Puppy Doggers). She just got over a hurt ACL (kind of like Donovan McNabb except she didn’t look way rusty on Sunday. Also add Donovan McNabb to her akas), and she decided to feel better the first of the four days I had to watch her. You’d think a Bassett Hound would just lounge around, but you’re completely wrong, especially for one that’s only seven months old. So, this took up most of my weekend.
Sunday was spent watching professional football. I don’t really have much to say about the Eagles game. You all saw it. You all probably cried like I did. Other than that, there were some pretty good games. Some pretty crappy ones, and a kind of weird start to the NFL season.
Upon my parents return, and as “payment” for babysitting their dog, they handed me a Sabre 620 box camera that they purchased for $2 (the price tag was still on it.) Expect some photos from it to be up on on Flickr page soon.

So its that time of year…Philly Fringe Fest time. For those of you who have not yet taken advantage of the inexpensive arts, dance, and theater shows, you still have one week left. Last night I caught the final show of IndiversCity, presented by Indigenous Pitch dance company combining modern dance, hip hop, break dancing and interpretive dance, for a very moving and socially aware performance. If you like this kind of thing be sure to check out Preconcieved Motions on Friday and Saturday which contains several of the dancers from IndiversCity for a performance combining ballet and hip hop.

JoePa and the Nittany Lions did it again this weekend with a 31-10 victory over Notre Dame. On Saturday, Beaver Stadium saw its 2nd largest crowd ever, and also the first ever all stadium white out (which is pretty much one of the coolest things ever). The Penn State defense held the Irish to zero yards rushing and only 144 total yards, sacking Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen six times for a loss of 50 yards. There’s a reason we’re known as linebacker U, let’s just hope we can keep up this momentum for our big ten rivalries.
Fall is, in short, falling upon us. What better way to ring in Autumn than with some new shirts from [ 2 one 5 ]? That’s right. There is no better way. Have a look see at what we’ve been up to. We’ve definitely been showing you a lot today. You can thank us later. With alcohol. Anyway, visit our online store to make a purchase.

This t-shirt may feature a bright cactus color in the front gradient graphic and the back print, but it’s not going to prick you. Instead, it’s more like jumping in between the cozy sheets of a soft bed on a nippy winter night after you’ve downed a few glasses of brandy. OK, so it might not be like that, but it’s still better than having your significant other (or worse, your mom) picking cactus prickers out of your fleshy ass.

Most people think ladies like things such as puppies, make-up, soap operas, and cooking. Not us. [ 2 one 5 ] knows better, and we’re proud to announce the first piece of our women’s line. This t-shirt features our famous gradient bridge that slides from aqua to magenta, adding a rich flavor to the lady who can move from sneaker to stilettos and not trip. Slip one on and make all the boys drool.
Now, here’s the first two t-shirts of our Peace Collection:

Peace may not be forgotten, but it’s still long overdue. [ 2 one 5 ] has set out to change that. A collaboration with Peace and Love, this t-shirt re-examines the same question posed by Eric B. and Rakim back in 1987. It’s now twenty-years since then, and not much has changed. Things have actually gotten worse. Wear a bold statement across your chest for everyone to read, and let’s all make a change.

It’s time to take the guns off the streets and smash the system with love and understanding. Let the neo-hippie in you dance in an open field of wildflowers with the second installment of [ 2 one 5 ]’s Peace Collection. Lit up with modified Day-Glo colors, this t-shirt puts you in touch with nature while shouting out loud with the voice of change. So, throw this on, grab onto a tree, and hug it until all is well with the world and your parents get a little worried. ***This will be available in our online store soon.
Also, if online shopping creeps you out because your afraid of identity theft or something (our webstore is 100% secure.), you can visit find us at these stores: Agent Aloha, Omoi, Out of Time, or 802.
In case you didn’t know, besides being t-shirt slingers, advertising makers, and all around cool guys/gals, we put out a yearly magazine. It’s called Living Proof.
So, as October draws nearer, that can only mean one thing: the second issue of Living Proof Magazine will be stumbling its way into boutiques across the country. You might ask, “Hey, Living Proof, what are you guys up to for the second issue? What can I expect?” Well, we aren’t telling you. If you’re the guessing type, perhaps you’d like to take a look at some of the “behind the scenes” pictures from a photo shoot we had for it. What’s that? You would like to take a look? Fine. Here you go: www.flickr.com/photos/2one5ntwrk

Here’s an interesting concept from New Era. They’re releasing a series of hats featuring various phrases that are a part of Cockney Rhyming Slang. If you’re not familiar, click that link. It’s a little hard to explain. Basically, it uses phrases that rhyme with words to be used instead of that word. Just click that link, they do a much better job of explaining it than I can. Anyway, these hats are available at the European part of the New Era website and at their flagship store in London, or LDN, if you’re highly text savvy or a Lily Allen fan.

I’ve never been a big fan of Reebok. But, I have to give them a little credit for rereleasing the Reverse Jam. This sneaker was featured in White Men Can’t Jump, an now all those people who love sneakers with bright colors can bask in the late 80s/early nineties neoness of these sneakers. Let’s face it though, White Men Can’t Jump really wasn’t a good movie. It was kind of cool if you were a 10 year old suburbanite and into basketball somewhat just because your dad put up a hoop at the end of the driveway.
