NY Times Style Mag

New York Times Style Mag has managed to insult us in numerous ways. First, they mention the sixth borough. Again. We won’t go into that at all. We’ve all heard it before. This time, they up the ante by calling us “second tier” and showing their superiority by saying that we could be possibly moving up thanks to a little corridor of eight of Philly’s best boutiques on 2nd and 3rd street extending from Old City up to Northern Liberties. But, there’s a glaring omission. No [ 2 one 5 ]! That’s right. They left us out. But, we’re not boo-hooing. We took the liberty and had one of our non-designers photoshop us in. Our little 3rd St. office falls just at the bottom of their map. We may not be a boutique, but we’re culturally relevant, or something. Anyway, thanks to our favorite creative suite, we’re now in good company with some of our favorite shops like Arsenal, Art Star, Vagabond, and our soon to be moving next-door neighbor Sugarcube. Also, after you read it, and get all fired up about the sixth borough mention and the new second-tier snub, might as well go buy a Not NY tee or fitted.
