You’ve got the kiddy pool filled to brim and the Supersoakers juiced up, now get your summer going strong with a handful or new goodies from [ 2 one 5 ].

First up, the Sports Collection is now finished. We’ve been doing sporadic releases just to keep you on your toes, but no need to worry anymore. It’s all here. As LeBron hopes to win a title with a mediocre (at best) team behind him, and baseball races and rivalries begin to heat up, there’s no better way to support your team than with any one of the tees featured in the sports collection. Meshing classic imagery with fresh design, these tees will help you forget about showy superstars, steroids scandals, and the alarming arrest rate of today’s athletes. Not to mention, each tee has been specifically designed to look great with a sun-screened nose, flippers, or a pair of floaties. So, grab ‘em up. It’s definitely t-shirt weather.

Now that you’ve got your t-shirt, why not nab a fitted hat while you’re at it? We’ve been giving your torso quite a workout with our shirts; so now let your noggin have some fun. It deserves it. Our new fitted hats play Daryl Hall to the John Oates of our t-shirts to make some beautiful music. Private eyes will definitely be watching you. Each fitted matches with a shirt, giving you an outfit your mother would be proud of. She always wanted you to look your best, and what better way to do it than by showing her that you’re more than capable of putting together a fetching ensemble.
And finally, for the page-turners out there, make sure you pick up a copy of this week’s Philadelphia Weekly. Once you do that, turn to page 15, and bask in the gloriousness that is an ad by [ 2 one 5 ]. Don’t act like you’re not impressed.

Men.Style.com recently posted a little article that talks about the re-opening of Ubiq’s Walnut St. location. It’s interesting to hear the reasons behind the redesign of the store and how a retail environment holds just as much wait as the product you sell. Read the article here.

Six artists. Six songs. Six favorites.

1.) Primal Scream - Loaded = Mashing up dance/house and rock, this group laid the groundwork for what was soon to follow. This album is a bona fide, drugged out classic, and this song is at the epicenter.
2.) Ride - Vapour Trail = A shoegaze anthem, this song sounds exactly like the title. Light and airy, but also dense, it kinda defines Ride’s sound. Unlike a lot of their shoegaze counterparts, Ride had some way strong pop sensibilities that helped them stay out of the lump that the British press was forming based on a tendency to look at your shoes while playing. Yeah.
3.) Blur - Girls and Boys = Dance Party UK. Just get on the dancefloor and strut like you’re a peacock. No homo.
4.) Sunny Day Real Estate - Song About an Angel = Sometimes Jeremy Enigk’s voice gets annoying, but everything about this group was awesome. From “finding Jesus” to going on to be in the Foo Fighters, this group went through it all and gave it all with a grain of salt.
5.) Smashing Pumpkins - Hummer = This album along with Gish got me through seventh grade. I was really awkward; I’ll admit it. But some of my best friends came through a shared interest in the Smashing Pumpkins. Sidenote: I’m not interested in their “reunion.” There’s no James Iha or D’Arcy. That’s not a reunion. It’s Billy Corgan realizing that his other bands suck. And I’ve heard the latest Smashig Pumpkins single and it’s terrible.
6.) Talking Heads - Pulled Up = One of my favorite bands. This quirky album ender has got every ingredient you need. How come there hasn’t been a band like this since they broke up in ‘92?
