New Tracks

There are a couple of prerequisites for being an indie rock: 1.) Be highly unathletic 2.) Be vintage 3.) Have friends in bands. Fortunately, I fall into the later two categories. More important than my fashionable vintage aesthetic (ladies love it), I have friends who have bands. There’s always an awkward moment when you go see a friends band play, or hear their new songs. If it sucks, you can’t tell them. So, you’re kind of forced into liking it. While that does happen quite a bit, two of my more favorite friends bands have just posted up some really bitchin’ new songs on their respective myspace pages. Both are either small or large tours right now, probably getting lots of ass from glasses wearing tattooed indie rock chicks, so you should go check it out. Especially if you’re one of the previously described indie rock chicks.
