We&#8217;re looking for a Graphic Designer that&#8217;s versatile, confident, highly-skilled, and can offer fresh insight and sensibilities to our international, national, and local clients. Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience and a strong portfolio of work including print, web, interactive, editorial, and more.</p>
<p>Our Graphic Designers are part of a team and will be a crucial part of the design process––from start to finish. You&#8217;ll gain access and exposure to our growing and diverse list of clients, including working on fantastic projects such as global advertising campaigns, website design, editorial layouts for national publications, luxury brand identity, product graphics, and more.</p>
<p>Ideal candidate will be all of the following (and more):</p>
<p>• knowledgeable of good design<br />
• proficient in all facets of Adobe Creative Suite 5<br />
• willing to learn, grow, and improve<br />
• able to take direction and feedback<br />
• ready to deliver on a tight deadline<br />
• a master of typography<br />
• a true artist</p>
<p>Skills in web development and motion graphics a huge plus.</p>

We&#8217;re looking for an Art Director with superior design sensibilities, strong typography skills, and a keen knowledge for visual communication. Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience and a strong portfolio that covers all facets of design––print, web, interactive, editorial, and more.</p>
<p>Working in our fast-paced agency, you&#8217;ll be challenged to create and execute ideas to further develop our stable of brands and clients. Our Art Directors deliver a vast array of work across a multitude of mediums, serving as a proven leader able to mange and mentor others on the team. You&#8217;ll spearhead projects for our vast and diverse stable of international, national, and local clients and work on projects that range from a global advertising campaign to web design to editorial layouts and down into direct mail pieces and brochures.</p>

<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re going back to the core of what made the original Tony Hawk&#8217;s Pro Skater games so popular, while leveraging today&#8217;s console power and online capabilities,&#8221; Hawk explained in the statement. &#8220;We&#8217;ve updated many elements to reflect today&#8217;s skateboarding scene as well. Longtime fans of the series will appreciate the huge amount of polished content at a very low price.&#8221;</p>
<p>The game is scheduled for digital release only, for about $15.</p>

<p>At the Oakley &amp; Shaun White Air &amp; Style, a 6Star TTR Big Air event in Beijing this weekend, Norwegian riders stole the show with Ulrik Badertscher landing on top with his first 6Star win, in front of Torstein Horgmo and Stale Sandbech. Just missing the podium was Swedish rider Nills Arvidsson, landing himself in fourth place.</p>
<p>Badertscher beat out fellow Norwegian rider Gjermund Braaten in the semifinals, and also beat out event favorite Sebastian Toutant in head-to-head matchups. He picked up Red Bull Best Trick honors on his third semifinal run with a score of 97.00 for what was first called a double &#8220;winger&#8221; flip 1260, but appeared to be a double backside rodeo 1260, that he was rumored to have last season, but never pulled off. There is now debate however, whether it is a true backside double rodeo 12 or an off-axis double 1260. At any rate, the trick has never been seen before, and Baderstcher has it down, as he landed it again in the Super Final for a score of 91.67.</p>

The world&#8217;s obsession with social media shows no signs of slowing down and has given marketers access to challenging, instantaneous response networks with multi-media rich platforms.</p>
<p>The year has produced many interesting social media statistics including:</p>
<p>-SumbleUpon driving over 50% of all social network traffic</p>
<p>-Facebook surpassing the 800 million user mark,</p>
<p>-Tumblr attracting over 90 million unique visitors every month, and</p>
<p>-Adding Google+ to the social media mix with 26 million users, at a cost of $585 million.</p>

Complimenting our Scharf feature, Clare Rojas, who is featured on the back cover, gives us an intimate look at some of her recent works.</p>
<p>Moving through the rest of the magazine, Tobin Yelland and his photographs are on display as he speaks about his subject matter and Richard Colman dispels the secrets behind his patterns and cone-shaped hats.</p>

<p>You know that picture your friends posted of you passed out on the floor with marker all over your face? Bad news. Besides it not being funny then or now, it may affect whether or not you are hired.</p>
<p>Social media monitoring service Reppler, surveyed more than 300 hiring professionals to determine when and how job recruiters are screening job candidates on sever social networks.</p>
<p>What the study found is that 90% of recruiters have viewed a candidate&#8217;s profile on a social network as part of the screening process. An astounding 69% of recruiters have flat out rejected a candidate based on content on the candidate&#8217;s profile. However, an almost equal proportion of recruiters have actually hired a candidate based on their presence on social networks.</p>
