Opening on Saturday April 9th, Carmichael Gallery will open a new exhibition of works inspired by the photography of Martha Cooper. Featuring highlights from Cooper’s photographic archive and works by over 50 artists who have created their own unique interpretations of her iconic, historically significant imagery, the show offers great insight into Cooper’s influence as felt through significant artists of our time including  Claw, Crash, Daze, Dearraindrop, Shepard Fairey,  Futura, Grotesk, Logan Hicks, Lady Pink, Anthony Lister, Barry McGee, José Parlá, Kenny Scharf, Swoon, T-Kid, and more.
