More Art!

The last few post over the last few days stink up our artsy-fartsy quotient beyond belief. Well, guess what? It’s not over yet! We’ve pinpointed two exhibitions for your types to hobnob your way into the pants of that art school boy/girl on your block. Go on! Impress them!

First, Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Museum of Art has a huge installation called “Life of Mars” which features the work of a ton of artists, and a new untitled, commissioned for the show, installation by one of our favorites, Barry McGee.

And, a little closer to home, Philadelphia’s Wexler Gallery’s (In)Between features the work of Randall Sellers, Anne Siems, some others, and the much-hyped and whispered about Damien Hirst. Total bummer though, we get the shaft by only have a print of his diamond-covered, $100 million platinum skill. A print? Come on, private collector, let him show it at this not-so-known about Philly exhibit!! We know you paid him cash for. We’re going to get at you in a minute!
