John Varvatos officially took over the old CBGB’s spot the other day when he opened the doors to his new boutique on Bowery. Now, you can buy really expensive clothes on the same floor/stage where the Ramones, The New York Dolls, and Bad Brains all played, walked, and spilled beer/cocaine/etc. Vavartos did keep most of the walls and their stickers/”graffiti.” Read all about it here.
