As The Roots prepare their 10th(!!!) album release, a few videos have surfaced to get the machine buzzing. Okayplayer sent this through the wire today. It’s a video for the lead-off single of their new full-length Rising Down. The song is “Birthday Girl” and features the singer from Fall Out Boy, Patrick Stump. While we’re all pretty big Roots fans over here, imagine our surprise when the email from Okayplayer including a tip to look out for a [ 2 one 5 ] shirt!! Here’s the video. See for yourself. The shirt is from an old line, but it’s the Gold Bridge; if you’ve been following [ 2 one 5 ] since our birth in 2001 you should recognize it. If not, we’ve including the exact times when it pops up.
